RUF briquettes
Fuel briquettes are a type of solid fuel, an alternative to conventional firewood or coal. This is an economical and environmentally friendly fuel, produced from certified raw materials.
Fuel briquettes are produced from by-products remaining during the processing of natural wood (chips, sawdust, wood dust), without the use of any binders. The briquette is formed under high pressure and at high temperature, resulting in the sintering of the natural substance lignin, which is contained in the wood.
Due to their compactness and small size, briquettes are convenient to use in small fireplaces, stoves, central heating systems and in the kitchen.
Этот вид топлива обладает рядом преимуществ:
- High density of the briquette ensures long burning (2-3 times longer than regular firewood);
- High heat output allows for efficient heating of rooms;
- Low humidity ensures that the briquettes are always dry and ready for use;
- Absence of ash simplifies the process of stove maintenance;
- Convenient sealed packaging does not create waste;
- Require less space for storage and transportation: one Euro pallet of briquettes weighing 1 t (about 1 m³) is equivalent to 3-4 m³ of firewood, which reduces the costs of transportation and storage of fuel;
- Possibility of long-term storage of briquettes without deterioration of their quality characteristics;
- The briquettes burn with a minimum amount of smoke, do not crackle or spark;
